At once complicated and simple, this heartwarming story explores the mysterious forces at work behind true love ‒ something that arrives almost too late for Tom. Hospitalized after an accident, he meets Gwen, and she’s exactly the kind of woman he’s imagined spending his life with. The attraction is mutual. Feeling eerily like long-lost lovers, these perfect strangers are irresistibly drawn to each-other. Within hours of meeting they’re in each-other’s arms. But dreams of a long, fulfilling life together are shattered when Tom is diagnosed with a sinister medical condition. There will be no dating, no wedding day, and no happily-ever-after, but could they dare hope to share just one perfect, romantic evening before Tom becomes too ill? This story builds to a devastating climax when Gwen loses Tom and her will to live, but prepare to be uplifted, because once again the magic of true love is about to change everything.
